Another Great Concert

They performed in Kent, Washington this evening and it was another great concert. They played quite a few songs from the new album and of course, the classics: Johnny Tarr, Don't Go For the One, Johnny Jump Up, and Me and the Moon, among others. The venue was great as well.

If any of you are attending the concerts in Oregon the next few days, ENJOY!!!

ETA: Patrick's wife was in the audience tonight as well. I guess she grew up around here.

Are you ready?

Tonight, Saturday July 26th 9:45pm. Dayton Celtic Festival, Dayton, Ohio it's FREE!!!

Bring your energy, beer and a whole lot of screamin'!!

Did i mention it's FREE!!!!!

Howdy Howdy

Shameless plug for the Dayton Celtic Festival.

I'm hoping they sing "Me & the Moon" because I always stand on the whiskey side with a GIANT sign that says we brought the whiskey we win!!

Wanna join in the fun, just reply I'm always game for more crazy company up front!!

I just saw patrick and the gang at the IAHC fest last weekend in chicago...and mr. murphy has a wedding band on. Did he recently get married?

What's the Rumpus?

I just got the CD in the mail... I've not even gotten to listen to it yet. I was irked, because I was expecting it yesterday...

But, on the flip side, I guess I was one of the first 200 people to pre-order. Because I got the autographed liner notes. I thought it was going to be an opened CD case, with the liner pulled out, signed, and put back in -- but it wasn't. It was a sealed CD, with an extra set of liner notes, which were autographed. ^^

I'll listen to the CD in a minute or so, after the MP3s are ripped. It's a quirk of mine that I never listen to the actual CD -- I rip MP3s for my computer or stereo (which plays MP3s from or can rip MP3s to a thumb drive!), and I listen to a copy of the CD in my car. It's a lot easier that way, and if anyone ever breaks into my car to steal CDs, I'm out $20 for the CD case, and $20 for a spindle's worth of CDRs.

Ships and Dip

Hello, folks! I'm a new fan of Gaelic Storm after seeing them on Ships and Dip. Just wanted to share a pair of pictures from their concerts.

At their concert on deck the first night:

In a lounge on the last night, leading the crowd in "Me and the Moon":

They're a great-sounding group with hilarious stage presence. Can't wait to learn more about them!

Beggarman: A Gaelic Storm Tribute Video

Everyone seemed to like "The One" so well, I decided I'd share the tribute video I made in 2003. This is what happens when I babysit. I put your kids up do doing things, like making a video for my favorite band.

The One

I'm not sure if any of you have seen this, but here is a fan video for "The One" Brilliant!
